Hey all! Guspath has posted partial diagram to his gryphon but the pictures are done with gold paper and i can't make out the crease pattern (i have really bad eyes and there's a bit of a glare) Once i get the cp i'm pretty sure i can collapse it from there. Any help is appreciated.

The diagram can be found here

Guspath is a great folder, but to be honest, his folding often isn't representative of the designs. Part of designing bases for specific pieces is that the flaps should all be the appropriate length for the appendages. What he does is makes flaps that are much longer than necessary, and then shortens them up. This gives the works an inefficiency and makes sections thicker than they need to be. This is the same problem I have with Manuel Sirgo's work. If Sirgo's style doesn't bother you, then by all means, you won't have a problem with Guspath's (At least Guspath's does not rely on squeezing tiny super-thick flaps into shape to be insect legs.)

I do enjoy his welsh corgi and ninetailed fox though.

Yes it is a nice model. If someone could help me though, and redraw the cp (if you can make it out) i can take it from there. I just see the creases on the gold paper he has in the picture and i love this model i want to fold it soooooo bad. I just finished my joisel dwarf so i'm on an origami high

this was my result with that cp.
with that you should get to the base, from where there is some work to do.
anyway you have

tail lionleg wing

lionleg body hawkleg

wing hawkleg head

anyone who is interested in trying this griffon might want to get the new VOG book. the cp looks very similar to adam tran's lava wyrm, and it might help you in the right direction.
