Kamiya's Carnotaurus (Help Needed)

Post by Bumblefoot »

Hi, sorry to bother you all again. I am having some trouble with this model and was hoping someone could help me.

Image

It is just the 19th step I am stuck on. I know how to do a squash and by looking at picture 20, it doesn't seem like it should be very hard but I just can't work out what exactly it is telling me in this case.

Any help would be great, thanks :D

If you know how to do the squash fold, but it doesn't look like the next step then I'm guessing that you made a mistake in one of the previous steps.
You should refold up to step 19 using copy paper or something and see whether it ends up being the same.

in agreement with Adam, you most likely made a mistake up until that step. It should be a normal squash fold just like a preliminary base. (by the way thanks for such a great post. This is a super example for people of what you want out of a post - you asked a clear and direct question and even put up a picture to specify. Thank you!

Step 14 is just simply creating a preliminary base using the creases you made. just carefully look at the creases and try to collapse along them, its very easy.
