Hey, I've drawn up my first set of diagrams, for the Ostentatious Crane (Also my first real original design)
Diagrams available from here:
http://joeslote.com/documents/ostcrane.pdf
If you guys find errors, please mention them, I've already found one, and plan to release a final version.
Known Errors:
- Apologize and Generally in the description
- Step 16: only go back to step 13 (not step 10); what drug was I on!?
- Step 1: It's a blintzed bird base, not just a bird base
- After step 34, it helps to do another thinning reverse fold in the other direction on the bit of paper you just reverse-folded.

cool, thanks great job on the diagrams. I was looking forward to trying out this model
just a quick question tho... What is the bird base in step 1 that you are referreing to? Because the bird base that ive always been familiar with is this one:

OK i just finished folding your model Joe
Folded from printer paper -- becomes very thick in the middle just so people know.
About the diagrams: I find them quite amusing ^_^ lol but i also found them a little confusing at times, when it wasnt too clear what to do. such as step 9, 14, and 16
i know this is just a quick draw of the diagrams but good work!

Hey thanks guys for all the responses,
@Ragnorax: Hey cool, glad you liked it. Made me realize I forgot another step. After step 34, it helps to do another thinning reverse fold on the bit of paper you just reverse-folded. Thanks for trying it out! Is there a name for the operation done in step 9? Step 14, maybe I'll call it a pocket. Step 16 is plain wrong, just go back to Step 13.
@Legionzilla: That is quite odd...I don't think it'll open in the browser window; you have to download then open in adobe pdf reader

Search "ostentatious crane" on Google, and you should find Joe's Deviant Art site with the diagram.
