Has anyone on the forum had any success putting the scales on the Koi model in Lang's Origami Design Secrets? I have come so close several times. I am having trouble with the tessellation pattern for the scales and also with the placement of them. Somebody help the me pleez! It is too long a process to keep failing time and again.

I folded the scales once on a seperate paper,but maybe I can help. For the tesselation you just have to make diagonal pleats in both directions.
