Noboru Miyajima - Martial Arts Fighter

Post by Draco »

HI ALL

can you guys help me out with this cp
http://www.h5.dion.ne.jp/~origami/e/mar ... ghter.html

so far i figured out:
the hands(top right/left) are from a reverse fold on a square 1/16 the size of the paper. the lower horizontal crease on the "fan" looking folds is 1/4 or the paper.the crease below the half point and the edge on the isosceles form a diagonal line on a square 1/4 the size of the paper. the vertical creases divides the paper into 1/4.i have a feeling that the creases that are below the hands are formed by rabbit ears.

major parts i need:
the octagon and creases that are in it. the bird base. the creases that mirror the octagon. and the "curve" on the bottom half.

i have a feeling i know what your talking about. i know i made the right creases. right now i'm having issues on figuring out how to fold the creases around the vertical line. if i can find that i can reverse fold the arms... and it would probably let me begin shaping.... just wondering but what was the first cp you did?
