hi, i was looking for a cp for Hideo Komatsu's Horned Owl and since i can't read japanese i was just clicking through his site at random and i found this link http://origami.gr.jp/~komatsu/etc/shelves/eva.html

as well as doing origami i also collect old transformers and this to me looks like a rare japanese one that i have.
Could any one tell me what that is, and also a link to the horned owl cp would also be nice, thanks

I edited your link so that it is clickable.
As far as I know there are no online-diagrams available for the horned owl. The cp is on Komatsu´s website: http://origami.gr.jp/~komatsu/gallery/h_owl-cp.gif

That isn't a Transformer, but a mecha-creature thing from Evangelion, which is a dark and violent anime. If you are wanting to fold one of those, Jason Ku has one on his page: http://www.bluegoo.net/~jason/ Its under 2004, Eva Unit 01. Diagrams for Komatsu's Owl have long been out of print, and there is a thread on it already. The search feature is your friend  .

*drools* That...is...perfection! Now if only someone could fold an Apsaras III from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.

Yeah, like what was said, that's the Eva 01 unit from Neon Genesis Evangelion. A very good, albeit overrated anime. In all my years of folding no creator has gone on to perfect mecha or robot designs. They just aren't that popular. It's sad because robot models are beautiful and present many interesting challenges to the designer. Personally I want to see Transformers!

That's good, but the models don't necessarily need to transform. That limits the detail of the model.

That's the Valkyrie VF-1 from Macross/Robotech. It's a transformable mobile suit, not technically a transformer. I am trying to fold this model and it's a pain in the rear. I need help

The VF-1 was re-purposed as a Transformer in the original Generation 1 toyline. The character was called Jetfire.

I know that, he was later renamed Skyfire. Started off life on Earth as a Decepticon, due to the influence of his "friend" Starscream.
