inside petal fold?

inside petal fold?

I'm trying to follow this model but not really sure what they want me to do in step 13 "inside petal fold" http://hansbirkeland.150m.com/bookb2.htm

You made a petal fold in step 11 and unfolded it at 12. The 'point' you created with step 11, is in front. At 13, you basically do the same but the point is now going to be behind the front layer. (see the reversal of the valley fold into a mountain fold).

I think that helps- now I'm getting stuck with the next part, I'm going to start from the beginning and try again. thanks!

if you're having trouble with the books by Hans Birkeland why don't you try the book by Martin Wall? It is very simple and clever and is is diagrammed in:
