Does anyone know how to fold Elias' Crucifex?
I am trying to fold it from his Miscellaneous Folds ll, work #1079.
The paper should be 14 units wide. But then in step 3, the section of the paper folded in half is 8 units, when it should be 7!
Does anyone know what is going on here?

Thanks,

Perhaps in this case he means for you to re crease the figure section, so that it is 8?
The clue for me is the 1x3 in the top right hand corner- so I would just precrease the paper only 1x3 then cut off 1/8 at the side and crease that to be a scale or guide for the other folds.

the other clue is in fig 3 he has not marked the increments like in the previous images, which again leads me to think he is using the new section and creasing it to 8 equal bits.

Will have to cut up some 1x3 and fold these wonderful models again.
