Fluffy by Marc Kirschenbaum

Hi everyone

I was making this teddy by Marc Kirschenbaum and got stuck on step 44.
I don't know how to make my bear look like step 45. When I got to step 49, I found that I don't have a waterbomb base, probably because I skipped step 44.

I had another go with a new square and had the same problem.

Has anyone made this bear before and can help please?

step 44 is nearly identical to step 39: pull out / around a single layer from underneath.

you can´t skip 44, without having a problem at step 49: so far everything is correct with your fluffy

don´t be afraid to open the model a little bit to perform step 44: you have to pull around a layer on the left (the "big" triangle) and on the right (the "small" one) simultanously.

keep trying, you do have two models for trial and error; congratulations for folding the fluffy up to 44 - I´ve had my first problems with the fluffy some steps before.

since I´ve folded already about 60 fluffys of different sizes, some hints:

it looks like that you have used valley-folds instead of mountain folds in step 69 to shape the mouth.

I think you have skipped step 63 - the color-change of the eyes. don´t worry, I have had the same problem with this step for nearly half a year. try folding the fluffy with bigger paper, then it is easier to perform step 69. (to be honest: I skip step 63 when I´m folding smaller fluffys

)

also the steps 64 to 67, folding the nose, are much easier by using bigger paper.

and finally it is the same with 78.

so do really try bigger paper and folding the fluffy will be real fun. I ´m sure we will see your results in the forum.
