Kawasaki Rose Variation Question

hi im new here, ive been folding for a while.i discovered the kawasaki rose but every time i try folding it it falls apart but im more interested in how many variations on the rose are there.which one looks more "real"(regardless of difficulty)?

To be fair, there's a lot more K-rose variations than just what's stated in the FAQ. I'll probably need to add another section on this, as well as some info on Kawasaki's two other books (Roses,Origami and Mathematics, and Origami Dream World).

In answer to your question..... The "new rose" looks better. It is the one that can be found on the internet, and has the precreasing rotated at 22.5 degrees. It has a more realistic appearance (more petals).
