The pdf is at the bottom.
This origami contains an equilateral triangle fold and some degree measurements for some isosceles triangles.
I'm new to this forum and relatively new to origami folding. Papertoy folding/gluing is another hobby of mine.
Okay, now to the main point.
I need help from step 15 to step 16. I can't seem to even understand how the transition happens.
I spent a little bit of time to see if this origami piece was built by others and not much info was found.
I did email a person by the name of David Derudas (he was credited in the same paragraph the pdf is found) just earlier. The creator of the pdf, Luca, has an invalid email.

Re: La Sirenetta di Luca Vitagliano
Fold the model in half and fold along the creases made in step 13/14 (am I mad or are they exactly the same?). Then make a couple of inside reverse folds along existing creases beginning with the innermost ones.
Re: La Sirenetta di Luca Vitagliano
I must be doing something completely wrong because all the combinations of folds with the creases Ive tried did not look like step 16.
The Tail end, didn't look like the way it had in the diagram either. I tried sticking in the flaps from step 10 into the top triangle. After folding the whole thing in half, the tail end looks more like the diagram had it.
In addition, i dont understand step 8... What does the fat arrow mean? lol.
I feel like im in way over my head with this one step. But i usually get thru things!
