kinpu money wrapper

I am very new to origami and have bought the book the simple art of japanese papercrafts by mari ono.
I have attempedt some of the designs and i think i am doing okay, However i wanted to try the kinpu- money wrapper featured on page 63 in the book. I have got stuck at the final part. I am initially practising with newspaper so as not to waste origami paper. I can get right to the point where it says to insert money or gift and to fold ends underneath the object. Am i to assume that the ends tuck into each other. I feel like it is a stupid question but i have to ask?
