Hi,
In that step you open sink(or closed if you prefer) the very left corner of the hidden edge.

Nope, it's American foil.

Can someone help me with steps 36 - 40, I'm probably just being stupid but I've tried everything I can think of.

Don't know if I can help much but in step 36, while you are doing the open sink at the pyramid, you also have to spread out the sheets behind and sort of invert some of your precreases. In step 38 when you fold up, do not follow to mid-line crease, you have to make a new crease below it. In step 39, open up the folds and follow the precreases to collapse (while folding the right side upward using the crease made in 38), the outermost fold should be a mountain fold iirc.

I'm currently stuck on step steps 64-66. I cannot tell which folds are mountains and which are valleys and I feel like there are more than one way to box pleat that portion... Help, please?

Just thought I should post a picture of where I am stuck at:

I am pretty sure the 3 vertical folds are mountain-valley-mountain, but my problem is, following the creases outlined in step 64, I could not fold the last vertical fold inward. Can anybody help me please?

You're so close! Just extend the vertical valley fold all the way to the diagonal intersection.

-Note that I unfolded the previous model to take these pictures and they have unnecessary creases which you should ignore.

@Shuki :NO OFFENSE MEANT

The diagrams are pretty tricky to get: it took me 4 tries to finish it, about once per month.
Good luck!
