i saw an instruction video on it(i think it was John Montroll making it) and now there is no way i can find it. if you could please post a link to the site i would appreciate it (diagrams are also okay). here what it looks like:

Hi Mythbuster,

the ring is a variation of ring by Mette Pederson. You'll get the diagram HERE. Instead of folding one mountain fold in step 9, you make two mountain folds left and right from the original position of the fold.
