Hi all!
I'm looking for super-complex diagrams. I've folded all that I can find and I'm looking for tougher models. (Still diagrams though) Preferably something harder than The Ancient Dragon. If anyone knows of diagrams of this complexity can you tell me where to find them?

*Please note I am not asking for the diagrams (unless they are free) only the model's name and where to find them

I'll try some by Kenny Balawski and Hans Birkeland.
I folded the Weatern dragon (Didn't find it too challenging) bt I gave it away so I might fold it again.
As for Origami insects II, I don't find but a few to be very challenging, but I will pick this book up again to try some of the harder ones.

From Insects II, the Flying Cicada and Flying Ladybird Beetle are pretty tricky. The Centipede and Scorpion are actually pretty easy.

Fold the werewolf in 50 hrs of origami.
Learn to fold crease patterns and you'll have no shortage of complex models to fold...

Could you clarify what 'super complex diagrams' are? Is it a model with a lot of steps? Or models that take hours to fold? Because I've failed models with around 60 steps because the diagrams where not clear and folded 100+ step models with easy because the diagrams and instructions wheren't good.

just another in a long line of posts of ppl looking for the "most complexest origami" there is. THERE'S NO SUCH THING. with modern origami, it is ALWAYS possible to graft more toes, teeth, feathers, horns, or fins. origami insects I still has the hardest models there are. if you've "beaten" that, there's nothing "harder" (with the possible exception of the lang maine lobster and his dancing crane). there is nothing "complex" about the in and out sink to form the paper wasp's abdomen, but it's still a very "hard" maneuver.

every "super complex" work since then is not all that hard, just very long winded, including the box pleated stuff.

Raptorex55, if you are looking for something challenging you could also consider the orthogonal direction: models that heavily rely on artistic skills (and not so much on technical skills). Like bethnor said, more complex often just means more tedious...
Model suggestion: Giang Dinh's cat in Licence to Fold, easy to fold but very challenging to get right...

Baltorigamist: I haven't tried those models in Origami Insects II. So I'll give them a try.
When the book arrives I'll fold the werewolf first, and you right about the CP's. I'm learning to fold the more complex CP's.
Your right Roodburst. When I said super-complex I meant highly technical. Like the western dragon, or Insects II. Complexity takes different forms though.
Benthor: I was not asking for "the hardest model" just difficult models to fold, with pleasing results. It is still difficult for me to graft and alter models, but I'm getting there. (Didn't mean to sound stupid)
Origami Geek: I'll work on that Ankylosuaurus. Looks tedious
Jeko: I as said above complexity takes many different forms, so I will try your suggestions.

O_o I think that the Ankylosaurus diagrams are almost impossible o_O

Yeah, when and if I fold it I'll post the finished product. Thanks again for the suggestion (I'd forgotten about that model) it was exactly what I was looking for when I posted here.

I've had that dinosaur in my OUSA Annual Collection... 94? Somewhere around then. I remember it being pretty fun! Not impossible.
