Hi I'm New ^^

Post by strangeseraph »

Hi, my name is Jenny, I'm new to origami completely, I know how to make a paper crane. I'd love to learn how to make more, I'm checking out sites with instructions for things like flowers and I'm excited to get started.

All I have is scrapped blank and lined paper and christmas wrapping paper. I wonder if I could make folded decorations with my wrapping paper? Maybe a garland of shapes would be a good project closer to Christmas.

But Halloween is this week, so maybe I should go look for orange paper and fold up some pumpkins? :) http://www.origami-instructions.com/ori ... mpkin.html

This is so neat!

that's actually the waterbomb, with a face painted on, some other models that could work eaven a little better are the origami strawberry and the radish.

They too are variations on the waterbomb but at least have leaves and a little more rounded shape. hope you enjoy!

Origami is so much fun, keep learning and enjoy. As long as you love it that's all that matters, have fun and keep folding!
Here's a great place to get lots of diagrams:
