Hi,

I'm holding a Kanji dictionary now.
Unfortunately, the scans you provided are a bit blurred and it's kind of difficult to make out the dense/complex Kanji characters. Can you provide a higher resolution scan?

Anyway, here's the first item:

(1) The figure shows a line(?) method for expressing the clothes on the chest.

If you can give provide a crisper scan, I'll be able to help on the other items.

(2) At the white arrow, push down the top layer.
The cross-section of the position indicated by the black line becomes 3 dimensional as indicated at the lower portion of the diagram.

(3) A cross-section is shown at the position if this green line.

(4) The head comes from the omitted ??? diagram's 2nd layer.

(5) Pull the third layer (the one with the white circle) to the left.

(6) Although the gray arrow's starting point becomes 2 layers ??, pull the back side layer.

Chest of the Icarus is the hardest part,I think. The paper has tendency to tear here. Mr.Hojo shows the cut dimension perpestive for the chest. First of all, pull the 2nd layer from underneath and wrap it on the first layer. Then continue with the next layer. It's hard to describe using words but I think it's very clear in the diagram,you don't have to read the text to understand. Here are my attempts.

Thanks for the translation! It's true that the pictures are very clear, but I thought there was someting special you should do at the black line. Guess there isn't

Hi,

I am attempting this model, but I have had trouble with step 130. Can anyone help. I don't understand what to pull out to make the flap in step 131.

On step 130, the arrow is a bit weird. Pull the flap where the dot is and pull out, there will be a "stretch" between the flap and the leg behind, but go through with it and it will be able to collapse. Granted, it is a difficult and complex fold in one step, but hopefully this helps.
