Diagrams are quite explicit, but am unable to get the SWIVEL FOLD correct. Any ideas on this one?

Which step are you having trouble with? The first swivel fold in the model is step 16.
But I think it would be easier to combine 16 and 17, which simply make a reverse-fold. What you may be having trouble with is the lack of a rotation symbol between 16 and 17. Take the diagonal crease in 16 and reverse-fold the lower right corner. Then rotate the model counter-clockwise 1/8 turn, and you should arrive at 18.
After the fall, we rise.

Baltorigamist: Thanks much for the tip. Yes, simply a reverse fold. Was not familiar with the term "swivel fold" but knew of the reverse folds. So far, up to step 26. Onward and upward.

Thanks again for quick reply.

TX for past help. Have new prob with Santa by Casey. Diagram 38, the DOUBLE REVERSE FOLD....
iI have watched the You Tube presentation, but still cannot get the fold right. is there anything that can make it more explanatory? Finding it quite challenging.

Tx much.

Step 38 looks to be nothing more than a pleat. Treat the mountain fold by itself as a reverse fold, then fold the valley fold back so the bottom is even with the crease on the left side. I can post pictures if this doesn't make sense, just let me know.

I was going to type out a long explanation here, but I figure a few pictures should do the trick instead. ;-)
