Having problems with step #9, I'm not too sure exactly how to get to this step aswell. The link is here:

Here's how the model looks at the end of step 7:

This is the viewpoint shown in steps 8 and 9:

Start spreading the 2nd and 3rd layers:

When it's spread out fully, it'll look like this:

There are a number of small diagonal creases that need to be made so that it will collapse like this:

When it's fully collapsed flat, it will look like this:

Repeat on the other side. The final result looks like this:
