having trouble folding step 6 of the little toad to get the legs out, any help?

Step 6 of Little Toad (in Origami Essence) is labelled as the same as steps 8-11 in Little Frog, the previous model in the same book. The earlier model shows the sequence fairly clearly. You may want to step back and do that one first to get the hang of it.

ah thanks, for some reason i thought i read same steps as 8-11 in the toad. was confused as it didnt make sense, got it now thanks lol
