Actually, I just used a large sheet of copy paper, and it is hidden well anyway! I have to learn how to fold with tissue foil next time!

I just hide the paper in the tails too, it is easier to me. I just can't seem to perfect the Phoenix version 3.5 though.

There is a diagram for pheonix 3.0 that is not made by Satoshi Kamiya. I do not know where to find it though.

If it is not made by Kamiya, I don't think it is accurate, only the creator can diagram a model correctly if he made it. :?

Have you seen Komatsu's diagrams for Maekawa's Devil (Tanteidan 56)? Or Miyajima's for Yoshino's FA-18?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, no it's not. The steps at the beginning don't even give the correct reference points.

You're talking about 3.0, right?

Does it start by finding a 1/9 reference point? If so then it's incorrect. The proportions are supposed to be (2√2)-2:2:2:1+√2. 1/9 is relatively close, and is a decent approximation, but it's not accurate. Search this forum and I have diagrammed the proper reference point. The rest of the diagrams do a decent job at collapsing the CP as I recall. The wing part is for the most part trash though. Try to figure it out based on pictures by Artur Biernacki or klnothincomin. They got it pretty spot on. I think rdrutel's video does a very good job at uncovering the mechanics of the wing feathers. He got the tips right anyhow.

If you're talking about version 3.5, the diagram does an excellent job at solving the base, but once again fails in the finishing.
