Hi!

I collapsed the complete CP of version 3.5, I only failed with the head part and the chest. Maybe somebody can give me a hint how to manage collapsing this part?

Hi I'm stuck in the shaping of the wings. I know that I have to do some reverse folds to relase the the rawpaper to fold the feathers, but I don't know were I have to do it.

Any help would be apreciated.

Hi.

Thanks for the video, but the pleats that I circled in the images is what I don't know how to fold.

Image

In the video on youtube were kamiya is folding the fenix the pleats (circled in the image) are already folded before he makes the feathers. In the linked video that guy only shows how to make the feathers not this pleats. (I think)

Yay!!! I folded one from a 9.5/9.5 inch sheet of tissue foil :D. I decided to screw the feathers on the head, and only made three (well, it is kinda hard to do such small folds on such a small sheet of paper). I also decided to not make the fine details on the wings. I took some pictures, but cannot find the camera dock  I will try to find it (I might have left it somewhere, in which case I will be extremely unhappy) and upload the pics soon

Finally got the head right, after folding it eight times from 9 inch kami. I also accidentally memorized the CP from folding it so much. Now I just need to figure out those pesky wings, and i'll be done!

Took a while to fold (I used tweezers for the head) but it was rewarding :D

Aaaaannnd, it was from a (I think I said this somewhere earlier in the thread) 9.5inch sheet of paper :D

hm...I must be doing something wrong then if your phoenix from that size is so tiny! mine have always been a very manageable size from 9.5 inch kami.
