You folded the whole thing in one sitting? With a paper that big? With paper that thick?

Janessa, is that just regular kami? I actually have a roll just like that I bought with a similar purpose in mind...

If I don't finish things in one sitting it will never get finished. And the paper wasn't that thick, and the size of it made up for the thickness. (:

Nope, the paper I used was just the largest paper I could find at Office Depot XD I don't think kami would be good for the ancient dragon. The paper I used was thicker than kami but because of the size, it ended up being kinda flimsy, and kami would be even more flimsy.

It's not kami. It's thicker than kami, but thinner than printer paper. It holds creases just as well, if not better than kami. I originally just bought it because it was the largest paper I could find, but after folding with it, I like it a lot. I've also folded the Black Forest Cuckoo Clock from the same stuff

anyways...I got a 4' by 12' roll at Office Depot for $8, and I've also seen it at Michaels and Joann Fabrics.

Okay, well mine isn't actually kami either. Looking at the wrapper, it's "Fadeless" paper, made by Pacon. My local craft store had a box of 48" x 12' rolls, varying colors, in the veeeery back corner. It was with the poster supplies.

I know that exact brand of paper, I actually tried to make an ancient dragon with it a couple years back! Mine was red, though. More recently, my 2011 3-D Jack O' Lanterns were made with a 48" orange/white roll from Michael's.

Anyway, here's what I've folded lately.

Cupcake

Made from one uncut square of white / dark brown tissue foil. My designs lately have been featuring color changes, and I'm interested to discover more potential in that area. This one took a week or so of development and about an hour to fold.

My fold of Ak827 Lion.
I printed the CP just to see if I was able of getting the base, I made it and then painted it.
I will fold it once again but without printing obviously.
