Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
How about Klink? That would open up some interesting challenges.
Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
Sorry for the wait, i was wondering what to do about these challenges, seeing as we weren't getting enough entries. One more suggestion, and GWBorigami- check your pms.

i'm thinking that would definitely need to be made out of a long, rectangular kind of strip of paper. anything other than that would be really difficult, i think. i'm terrible at designing, though.
Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
Actually, I can see it being done sort of Langs Beauty rose or one of those lampsphillipcurl wrote:Baltorigamist wrote:How about Klink? That would open up some interesting challenges.

The top parts can be used for a colour change, and maybe even the face if the flaps align right, then just use the strip to get both the middle and the outside teeth.

Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
Maybe fold a square in half to get a 2x1, then join two Beauty Roses from both layers. The extra edges from folding in half should serve for color-changes.
So are we doing it or not? I honestly swear I haven't started yet, but I need practice anyway.

Klink, vicinti and.........
Oh, wait, vicinti's been done! Vicinti with an interesting twist, maybe a fun pose or playing with a ball (or a brick, for people who can't make spheres, like everyone).
A third suggestion is needed.....
Those of you who want to start can start, or shall we just have two this month?

Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
ok, time for one of my entries:
my victini head! i got it from trying to work out a victini and while at it i got a good head so i decided just to fold the head from a separate sheet of paper.

Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
Very clever, what's the paper?
This month, we will stick to two pokemon. I need a voulenteer to judge. GWBorigami will announce last month's winning entry.

Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
Out of the two entries by shuaijanaidesu, wooper, we thought was the best. We still need another judge.

Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
Yay! That's sorted! Sorry to anyone who would have applied, it is now june 14th and we are sort of starting, so i want to get everything ready quickly.
Now we start waiting for entries. Enter maximum 2- one for each pokemon, no cuts no glue exept when using tissue foil sticking the tissue to the foil. Any shape of paper is allowed exept ones with reflex angles, no more than 1 sheet. Same as usual really. If the rules have changed since the first page please say.

Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
how would you even get a paper with a reflex angle? seems hard.
Re: Monthly pokemon challenges
Folding out of arrowhead (or delta?) shaped paper would have a reflex angle, so would a star, which robert lang used for wave 24.
