Free origami insect diagrams

Post by folding paper »

I want to make a origami insect from a diagram. I want to make it from a diagram because I want to use my new papers on diagrams.BUT the insects can be made out of Thai unyru, lokta paper, banana paper,or regular paper.

I would recommend you put this in the "what to fold" topic, under "paper", or under "origami model search" (the mods will either remove these posts, or move them). You may want to word this a little better, so it is easier to understand. So I hope you are asking "Is there some free insect diagrams I could use to test some papers I just bought?". In this case, you may want to read this:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=568.

You may want to buy an actual insects book, e.g., Origami Insects II, by Robert Lang, to suit the papers which you are using, if you can.

Sorry for the bad wording. Plus, I wanted the origami insects to be super complex(like Robert Lang's origami scrab beetle). But still thanks. :)

I don't think any supercomplex insects will be free, and if they are, they will probably be cps or no anything at all.

quite right, if you want free complex models, you have to do a lot of trawling through google, like I do sometimes.

I think I posted the diagrams for my Bombardier Beetle on Flickr somewhere. It's an old and crappy design, and the pics are low quality, but the diagrams are readable.
