I

I glued a sheet of white tissue on top of a sheet of black, hoping to create grey, it kinda worked out. It's greyish and looks almost textured.

To be finicky, it best resembles an arctic fox- the long ears and longer face gave me that. If you wanted that effect, well done that is awesome designing, if not- you really know foxes in general- it is so accurate!

Thank you harpseal. After seeing someone else using multiple layers of tissue paper I experimented with using a sheet of white on top of sheet of black. It turned out to be this greyish almost textured looking. I like it, and i might try it out with different combinations of colored and white tissue.
As for the model, I wanted a model that used the greyish tissue foil, so I wanted to make and improve a grey wolf I designed earlier. But while folding, It took the shape of a fox rather then a wolf. I usually use a picture of the animal to do the final shaping but with this one I just did it from memory.
I must say that the color resembles the artic fox, but I think the head and ears are bit to big. Still I think it looks very nice, although because of the number of layers the face gets a bit thick.

The layers in the head make it look more clever in some senses. The ears and the colour of the paper are the main foundation to the 'arctic' bit. It is good. :D

Yes. Only one sheet painted with white glue.

"Sirgo Paper", in the definition of Roman Diaz.

Starting another Ryujin 3.5 :). Should be a nice introduction back into origami after a 2 year hiatus.

Tried a few tessellations recently because I've never really done any and it's something I wanna explore a bit more so here are my most recent:

The first one is also actually made from paper I made myself! It was one of my first attempts so it's not great paper but it turned out O.K :)
Also that last one is the first time really that I've had a go at changing a design a bit, the centre is not altered by me at all but because I only had a small grid I changed the outside. I don't particularly like how it looks, I don't think it's very aesthetically pleasing but it's something I did myself so I guess it's kinda cool aha

With the excitement of the 30th Summer Games in the air, I came up with this design for the famous Rings :-) - Olympia
