Shaping models

Post by Origamidi »

Hi,
I think shaping is one of the most important skills you must have for origami and here in the forum is no topic for it. What I mean is that all the models look best when they are folded directly from the inventors. Moreover, it is extremely difficult to copy well.
Therefore I would like to know from you how you bring your models into shape.

Shaping really depends on the model itself, so there's really no strict formula for it. The only advice I can give is to form your own image of what the model should look like and follow your instincts.
