No paper i have tried seems to work for this model, double tissue is too flimsy, origamido (yes, I tried to do it with that) comes in sizes way to small for this model and the thickness is unreliable, and just about every other paper just doesn't seem to work.

fyi phillip, japanese foil will work. you just have to go real slow. and really, the tough open sinks are hidden, so if you fudge them a little it's not a big deal.

what i meant, btw, langko, is that step 153 does not fall neatly on any precrease. you're sort of pulling out a gusset in the inner layers, like 61-2 of the lyrebird.
