Why don't you think so? Remember that impressive doesn't always mean loads of detail.

Continue folding it several more times. Work on something completely different, then come back later and fold it again. Each time, you'll be able to improve it a tiny bit more...

I remember Robert Lang saying, that he worked on his moose for years. so maybe we could also invent master pieces if we would only spend years for developing them?!

More or less, yes. What takes up all this time is not so much the actual development of the model, but rather the exploration and gaining of experience that allows you to come up with the result you want. There's just no substitute for this - articles and books help a bit, but in the end, you're just going to have to get your hands dirty and keep trying and trying and trying.

I don't think so. although I thought it was obvious that I was joking, I need to add that you would never develope Lang-like models without talent. you may be patient and love Origami, but the lack of talent can hardly be balanced with patience.

Of course not. But why would you want to develop Lang-like models if you're not Lang? If you're doing that, all you're doing is copying the style of a master, rather than developing your own.

i disagree every one has talent
i mean if you work hard for 10 or 11 years ,why woun't you learn an art let it be painting,music,origami or any other art
the only thing you need is inspiration and hard work
no one is special

that's correct! one can throw a ball pretty far, one can climb up to walls, one can listen very carefully and solve problems, one can fix items. but only because you can speak 25 languages it doesn't has to mean that you can sing a beautiful song. only because you can add numbers of no matter what size in your head, it doesn't has to mean that you can fold the ancient dragon.

thats so wrong. nobody, that loves to read books, would inevitably become a good writer, only because he works hard for years. you need the talent to tell a story... inspiration is secondary, because if somebody has the talent to tell jokes, he will also get big laughters with the oldest jokes in his head. if somebody has the talent to tell stories, one and the same story won't become boring, even after the 3rd time you hear it.

I heard that one a couple of times and I'm pretty sure that this is one of the biggest lies of our century (and the last one).
