A long time couple of very good friends of Gerwin married recently. Being in a household together for quite a long time they already own everything they need, so they asked for an envelope with something inside. We took their wish literally and presented them with an envelope inside an envelope. The outer envelope (Design: Frances LeVangia) was folded from Elephant Hide and was made exactly the right size to fit the inner envelope, that was folded from twenty 5 Euro bills made into pixel units by Max Hulme. Inside the inner envelope was a greeting card, after all they wished for an envelope with something inside, didn't they?

Nice Locust.

Gerwin is good. He's just having so many projects at the same time that there's not much time left for Origami. We've been at some conventions together though, like for example Edinburgh and Krakow.

I recently folded once more my Three drawer organizer. I altered it's dimensions in order to find easier references. With this new dimensions, the trick is to imagine a 5 X 5 grid over the paper in order to fold the chest.

I used scrapbook paper for the drawers; I received a pad as a gift :). The cassette inside can give you an idea of the size of the model and of it's capacity. There are three cassettes in the drawer.

Cool idea!

origami_8m would you mind making a video showing the Chest of drawers by Martin Wall? I would lovve to see the independent drawers in action from this single-sheet model :D.

Great folds guys!!!!

Here's my fold of Gen Hagiwara's rabbit.

I folded it with a 11 inch piece of butcher paper painted with pink acrylic on one side and Pearl acrylic on the other side. Diagrams can be found in Tanteidan Convention 17. Hope you like it!
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....
