Thank you so much chesscuber98 :). It's been pretty useful... the drawers are already full of stuff.

Finally I finished five orchestra dwarfs. I have spent 1 year folding these dwarves. It was a birthday present for a friend. I am very happy to have finished this project! There were no diagrams or CP for the Bass and Tuba, so i had to design them myself. I am quite happy with the result. The bass dwarf is my favourite one

designed by Eric Joisel
folded and varied by Alexander Kurth

Allex! Its amazing beyond words! I would love to be that friend of yours :)

After 3 days of crazy struggle, 20 days of refining, I finally managed it, a 3D tesselation.
I call this LIFE in paper.

Bird free after Toyoaki Kawai. The original model has several cuts, but since I'm a purists, cuts would be unacceptable for me. Therefore I altered the model in several ways, to achieve my goal of folding the model without cuts. I'm pretty happy with the outcome :-)
Behind the bird is a big pocket that can hold various things like for examples sweets or flowers. Folded from a square of 20cm kami.

It is in the book with the ISBN 4586504749. I liked the look of the model and only while folding realized it had cuts to achieve the separate wings and the thin neck. Not sure whether there is a picture of the model anywhere else than in the book.
