cp in origami tanteidan 139 magazine
can someone tell me what is the grid of the model? i also need help in the collapsing process. and one more thing, would it be hard to collapse and shape? thanks in advance
first of all - you are too lazy to count the grid, so good luck with pre creasing it's 72 - it is also mentioned in the text. collapsing and shaping is quite easy. The only difficult part is to get nice 3D shape of the wheels
72? that's a lot anyways, would it be hard for me if i have done only one box pleated cp in my life ( takashis violinist) would it be hard for me ? i am saying this because of the above reasons the other reason is that i have only one sheet of terry's foil left and i don't wanna waste it so try to understand!
thank u again Kafar for the info.
Sorry but if you don't even know how to fold a grid, I fear no one will be able to guide you through the model here. If it were just for help with some details, someone might be willing to help, but if you don't even know the basics, there's no chance you can succeed to fold this from Crease Pattern. But as a Pointer: 3x3x2x2x2=72
i didnt mean that buddy! i can solve cps it looks like u have not seen the cp yet when i counted the grid the result was 36 am i right or kafar? did he mean folding in both directions as 36 + 36 =72
my english is a bit weak its hard for me to explain what i am trying to say
Okay, I had a look at the Crease Pattern and as far as I see without further counting is, that the 72nds are on the diagonal, so it does make sense if you counted only 36 on one side.
It's fine to ask for help, but multiple, slightly demanding posts tend to look a bit rude. There's no photodiagrams for this model. Only a few people have made it also, and they don't have many progress pictures. I mean, you can browse around flickr or the internet, but I wouldn't count on people folding a time-consuming model like this only for photodiagrams. It would be really suprising, but I can be wrong though. Good luck with the model
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....
