Not really. You can fold it with any paper if you have good shaping skills Sebl folds most of his models with banana, mango, and unryu papers that he just knows how to shape.. so foil isn't the only paper you can use.

I actually used a different reference. I pinched the half mark, then the fourth. Then divided inhalf from the top to the fourth mark. It worked well and Is easy.
I want to thank you all very much (especially Karol and Mir Numaan) for your replies. Karol is definately the rightful owner of his theme song .For a few months I thought noboby would reply, but luckily, I was wrong. I've folded the fisherman now, and it turned out quite nice for a test fold.

this is exactly how I've created this model.
and for this one , no foil , only lokta and unryu with mc. shape it with a sort of mumification using strips of clothes
