Could I use tissuefoil cut to A4 size and use it in my printer to print the cp, or would that destroy my printer?

A: that's probably a bad idea and would jam your printer...
B: just fold the model without printing the cp on it... References are on the page before this

yeah don't print it, its a bad idea for all models. use my reference and fold.

Tried and failed. I now remember that I tried it before. When I first saw the cp. I just can't fold crease patterns.

well, then you need experience. Its easy to precrease

Yes I have little to none experience with crease patterns. All my attemps at it turned into crumpled balls of wasted papergrin:

I am going to try again today with larger paper. Just when i think I have it collapsed correctly, I realize I am not even close

Mr. Friedman told me that the flap in the upper right of the CP is what causes the color change. Maybe this will help.

Ok, so since you guys seem to be struggling with this... The base that you posted at the very start of the thread is almost correct. You just have to fold the triangle that's in the top right corner to the front of the model. That will give the colour change, and then collapse that area on the creases shown. That will give you the completed base. Now that you have the base which is the easy part, the hard part is shaping... By looking at the cp you will have to make some sinks on the small flap that is on the top of the body, this way you can fold the wings up from the bottom of the base to there final position. I'm guessing you will have to also do some sort of point split on the head... This will shorten the head because it is too long and also add the eyes and the beak. The very end of the tail needs to be sunk aswell so you can fan out the layers. The claws need to also be sunk in and out to thin them. Hope this somewhat a helps. Haven't folded the model yet, will try when I have time

The reference posted before can't be correct unfortunately. I tried those folds on the printed CP and it doesn't line up.

I've drawn the CP out in autocad, and tomorrow I can get the dimensions of the reference and then use reference finder.

The reference is incorrect. I am looking at it right now on top of my desk. It is close, but the diagonal down from the upper middle to the lower quarter does not line up with the reference point.

nah, take a piece of kami and start folding the reference. I bet it will line up
