ModularBri
I'm new around here (and to folding) and want to show off my latest work. 3 inch square sonobe units (90) and 5 main colors ( 14 each of red, orange, yellow, dark blue, and dark grey...20 white connecting units). This is the 2nd one I've made so I'm including my 4 inch model for comparision. The 4 inch is flimsy by nature and collapses about half inch on the bottom (also gappy). My 3 inch model has nicer connections and smaller gaps.

Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
I love the colours.
Also, quick thing, to show the pictures, put the direct image URLs you have there inside [img][/img] Also make sure BBCode is enabled below your post.

Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
Nice models! Perhaps you could open a gallery topic to show us your work.
Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
To add to what Razzmatazz said, you also have to change the _b in the end to _z.
It should look like this:
and will display like that:
It should look like this:
Code: Select all

Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
BBCode is what makes your picture show up on this Forum.

Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
Why do I need Bbcode along with html?
Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
For security reasons html is disabled on this Forum, only BBCode works.

Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
This all seems a bit trivial, but ok. I can't find how to make a gallery topic either (permanent topic?).

Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
In the Origami Galleries section, make a topic called something along the lines of "ModularBri". Then post pictures of all your models in there.
Or you can edit your first post on this thread to be "ModularBri" and that will probably please moderators.
Also, BBcode has been around since like 1998. It's a simple markup language and is almost always on a forum. It's easier than HTML. I don't see how it is trivial when it's introduction was probably for the purpose of making it easy and definable what you can do in forum posts.

Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
I didnt' know it was around that long...just seems redundant if you've already got something that works fine. Thanks for the help

Re: 90 unit dodecahedron
The problem with HTML is that it's hard to set boundaries. BBcode is really just HTML restricted to basic type settings. It is basically on every forum. And every forum can edit the BBcode to made administrator defined codes for it.
