I took a crisp paper Australian $20 note and bent a rather special rendition of Max Hulme's "Jack in the Box"

Re: What have you folded lately?
Well, this will be a huge shame, but here it goes.
I recently folded Satoshi Kamiya's Coelophysis from diagram. So far, there have been 3 attempts. My first attempt fails horribly; nothing cannot be done about the leg as it's too flimsy, so I tossed it into the bin. My second attempt is rather successful, but as I used a badly made 30 cm square of kite paper-foil sandwich, it crumples all over the place:

Another picture:

That one is rather decent. I gave it to my lecturer because she wanted it after a lecture about dinosaurs.
On my third attempt, I decided to fold it from the "recommended" size (which I don't think it's really the recommended size, but then again, we are talking about Kamiya here) of 20 cm square of kraft wrapping paper. I saw a lot of this model in this forum, and they seem... wooden, so I decided to give it a running pose:

I liked this attempt better, but still there are several neatness issues.
Several things I want to review:
Finally, Riccardo Foschi's Samurai Helmet Beetle, folded from 30 cm x 30 cm of corrugated crepe-foil:

The edge of the paper was badly cut (my first time using tissue foil). It was so torn that when I was folding this, I kind of gave up and folded it cursorily. I'm kind of surprised on how it turned out....
... But it's so bad that since I photographed that bug, I stomped it with my foot and threw it off to the bin.
Any criticism is welcomed.

Several things I want to review:
- The biggest challenge of this is... cutting a perfect square. Seriously, it's really hard.
- Then, the spread at step 49 and the closed sink at step 51 is hellish, especially with tissue foil.
- I need to find better lighting and better camera. I photographed it with my Blackberry (yes, you heard it).

Re: What have you folded lately?
Something for Halloween...

Folded from 60cm shoyu/VOG paper.
I've had the cp done for a while but couldn't collapse it, but I got some inspiration from one of the IOIO 2014 tasks. To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed with it as it wouldn't hold it's shape without glue and wire, not sure if this is a common problem for box pleated figures or just my bad design
