hi hiba,
christian is right - it's impressive what u guys have achieved in the last few years. well done and keep up the great work!
for our reference, how many creators/folders were involved in the preparation of this convention in saigon? also, are most members of VOG from saigon or are they from other parts the country?
lastly, i really have to ask again - what is it that the vietnamese people eat that make u folks so talented?
rgds,

Bravo!
Amazing work Hiba!
Please congratulate everybody in your group for their talent and the hard work that has obviously gone in this!
What's amazing about your group's folding skills is that you don't just fold a model accurately; you give it a personality. For example, I just love what you have done with the dinosaur skeleton in "Detail View (44)". Menacing!!
The other photos I liked are:
1. Detail View 34 (For the snake)
2. Detail View 19 (Do you color the model after folding?)
3. Detail View 12 (Amazing dog! Whose model is it?)
4. General View 9 (Fantastic miniatures)
5. General View 16 (Good idea to put the crawlies on a vertical surface. Looks real!)
Keep up the good work!
Btw, it looks like your convention was attended mainly by impressed cute chicks!! (wink wink)
Himanshu.

Thank you very much ! For this convention all members un the country have paid much effort. About the Dino's bone, it was done by 7 members in Saigon. The rest of model folded by local members (mostly) and some models sent from another parts of the country. This is our tradition. When
the North hold Convention, the other locals send their models to be displayed, and in return, the North will send their models to the other parts
when the event come.
Vietnamese, like other Asian race, eat rice as main food. I don't know what
is in rice that makes them fold like crazy.
Himanshun: Thank you very much ! Detail view 19 is a panorama shows a T-rex eating some victims. The folder did colour this model after folding.
Detail view 12 is not an Origami model. It's papercraft, with cut and pasting. It's completely 3D and you can download the instruction from Yamaha 'site.
Thank you very much,again.

Rice is a good source of choline which the body uses to make acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is one of the neurotransmitters thought to be associated with learning.Vietnamese, like other Asian race, eat rice as main food. I don't know what is in rice that makes them fold like crazy.
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad.

yes ... but then rice has been the staple food for the vietnamese and other folks in many parts of asia since who knows when. perhaps vietnam has in recent years come up with a variety of rice with an especially high content of choline? that would probably explain to some extent, the emergence of Hoang Trung Thanh, Nguyen Hung Chuong, Pham Dieu Huy and many other talents from vietnam in recent years. i should try to contact the vietnam department of agriculture ...Rice is a good source of choline which the body uses to make acetylcholine.
