Welcome to the forum! Image
Don't worry, your english is good enough for us! There are many topics about books if you use the Search function. :D

Oi tmmholanda, como vai? :)

This is a rather international forum so don't worry too much about using "perfect" english. As far as more origami books, when I get home I will try and find the Origami book I have that is in portuguese (I bought it in the airport in Rio.)

The book I have is called (oddly enough ;-)) Origami : A Milenar arte das dobraduras. It was written by Carlos Genova

quite a few simpler models but a few more complex ones.
My favorite is the one he has of Saci perere (sp?) sitting down.

There are various groups on "orkut" for brasilian origami fans. Use their search function.

Goto the search communities and type origami.... there are many communities named origami dobraduras and so on.... let me give u the exact one...
1. arte do origami
2. KUSUDAMA - Arte em Origami
3. Adoro KUSUDAMAS
4. Origami / Dobraduras /Origame
5. Origami é vida

Let me know if you need any more help to find the community. I don't understand portugese but am still a member in a few. It should be helpful for you.

I am aware of that :)
You can search for communities.
But inside communities you can't search for posts!

mithrandir:

Could you give more info about this exposition? When will it be, how much will be the tickets to get in? Maybe I will go there.

What will you expose there? Do you create your own models?

You have to talk to Yara. Look here: http://groups.msn.com/OrigamiBrasil
I think that almost all origami I`ll expose is in fotolog:
