Foil paper problems

Post by rokonacdc »

I got a lot of foil paper for Christmas this year but I am having a problem with it - it keeps curling up making it very difficult to work with does anyone know how to fix this and/or prevent it from happening again.

Thanks in advance I appreciate the help.

Put it under a thick book. That helps a lot. Also, I think its better to use Japanese foil for complex models. ( If that's the type you've got. :-k )

I just got a bunch of Japanese foil myself. It curls when I take it out of the package, but if you just smooth it out it should stay fairly flat. And once I start folding with it, it hasn't been curling up any more.
