Hahaha! I only destroy my models if they fail mid folding (ie if they rip during a sink fold etc.) I once burned an origami octapus that went wrong. It was fun to watch the tentacles singe and shrivel.

Mostly though, I will give models away to people, but other than that i just stockpile them in a cardboard box, unless I was making the for the purpose of displaying them. It istrue, origami makes a good gift and is a good way to start a conversation with random people.

If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.

Burning's a bit better... but still evil

In Vancouver, I watched a show about fire and the woman doing brought out some paper that dissapeared. You may be wondering what this has to do with fire. Well, it dissapeared because it burned so fast! You just tou it with something hot and it bursts into flame, and dissapears in a pile of ashes. I'd love to have some of that! :D

Most of my creations get "rehab-ed". Dehab-ed more like. Two of my friends have made it their job to disembowel my models using a stickytape covered rock and a lunch box.
My better models are hidden away from them on my mums desk so they don't get pummeled.

I believe it's called "flash paper" you can get it from shops that sell supplies for magicians.

Thats a great Idea! I got some flash paper for xmas. Nice 9" squares (or some similar size) along with a small small notebook of flashpaper. I need to make some insane project and watch it go up in flames. I think its time for another dragon :P

i use to keep my models for some time in a box or on a board to see it. if the box explodes finally i try to give some pieces away or i do leave it somewhere i think interested people will take it along with them. most things unfortunately end up in a dustbin ...

 Umm, you may end up with some angry origami masters and paperfolders if you did that... (and you don't want that  )

Well, I do not recommend folding flash paper. Its properties make it difficult as heck. The dragon, while still resembling a dragon, is the most hideous creation i've ever folded. It deserves to go up in flames

I have several shelves in my room full of origami models, mostly animals. They're very decorative and colourful and really brighten up the room.

At the moment we have five boxes of Origami models that we are trying to sort out. With a bit of luck one box will get to the recycle box, two boxes will become present boxes for people visiting or maybe for the Origami peace tree project or things like these and two boxes will stay for exhibitions, shelves and the like.

I keep 3-4 models (and replace them from time to time), I throw everything else away.
