Drummer and Drum?

Post by Cupcake »

I would like to design a snare drum because my music teacher asked for a drummer. I have already figured out how to make a drummer with drumsticks (Robert J. Lang's Violinist with 2 bows instead of a violin and a bow) but how would I make a snare drum? I was think sort of along the line of David Brill's Bolt...

Maybe this could give you an idea. I have seen some drummers from a friend. What he does is he obtains a flap at around the waiste of the human figure and turns it into a semi round shape, to represent one of those soldiers that march while beating the drum.

Hmm... sounds like a good idea... And Robert J' Lang's Violinist just so happens to have that extra flap that he uses for tails on a suit... This just might work! :D

I finished it :D As a first attempt, it's quite rough, but I am still proud of it. Pistures will be in my gallery soon, and I will probably post it on "What Have You Folded Lately". Thanks for the idea, Brimstone!
