Where to buy straws

Post by Yao »

I'm been searching around for a good online store to get craft straws to make these stars: http://www.geocities.com/lisayuan/rf-strawstar.html

But can't seem to find them anywhere! I don't live near a chinatown, which I think is where most people get them.

I found only one link on ebay that had anything like it (surprising!)

So I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some links where I can order these straws online. They're especially made for crafts, about 18" long, a variety of different colors and transparencies.

thanks! :D

maybe you should tell us where you're living. maybe somebody knows a store and you don't need to order online?

I got some at the grocery store--they're about ten inches long (25cm). I splice two together to get the length I need (just slip the end of one into the end of the other). Mine are the ones with the flexible area; I just make sure that part is in the center of the star so it's not noticeable.
