As it seems a lot tougher to find decent paper etc over here I thought it might be a nice idea to pool sources of origami supplies over here in the UK.
To get things started a couple of useful links are:
http://www.roze.co.uk/ - Supplies a good range of imported origami paper, this is the cheapest supplier I've found of kami and the like.
http://www.viking-direct.co.uk/ A big office supplies company, they do great big rolls of kraft paper in a variety of colours.
I would be interested to know if anyone has a decent (preferably online) source for the more fancy type of paper, big sheets of mulberry and the like.
Also does anyone know a cheap source of methyl cellulose? I took a trip to the local B&Q but none of the wallpaper pastes gave any ingredients information, the best I've found is a couple of paper making craft suppliers but at £20 for a small packet it seems a bit expensive there.

Unfortunately all I can find is wallpaper paste with no mention of ingredients on it (have also searched the laundry sections of supermarkets for starch which I've read sometimes uses it too). I've tried some and it seems to improve paper a bit but I don't get the results others do so suspect it's got something else in it.origami_8 wrote:For methylcellulose look at your local building center, they sell it under brand names like Methylan and a small box lasts for ages
I was hoping there was another member out there who has had more luck and actually bought some of the stuff somewhere in this country.
