To put it plainly and straight to the point, the tissue paper I made looks really nice and it is very smooth, but it sucks to fold from, because the metal bit gets fatigued, and cracks. What can i do to fix this? If I was planning on just backcoating 2 pieces of tissue together using white glue, should I dilute it at all, and by how much?
Thanks,
Rdude

Re: Tissue Issues
Have you folded with backfoiled paper before or is this your first time? Because what you mention is exactly what happens when you try foil for the first time. Some people overcome this and learn to master it but others (I included) do not get good results from it.Rdude wrote:To put it plainly and straight to the point, the tissue paper I made looks really nice and it is very smooth, but it sucks to fold from, because the metal bit gets fatigued, and cracks.
