New Lang model and Crease Pattern

Looks rather like a couple of Mantises, erm, post-coitus. There is a rather complex crease pattern, too.

I'm glad to see a new insect model from him. Although I dont think I want to fold it. The 88x88 grid would be horrible to crease..

Eh, fold in 12ths, cut off the excess and split the rest in 8ths.
Wait, that's still a pain in the butt.

Fold in thirds then keep folding in halves. 3x2x2x2x2x2 = 96. Cut of 8 segments horizontally and vertically.

Anyway it seems Dr Lang has added a laser scriber to his arsenal of weapons.Expect to see models employing 213ths and 837ths grids.

Fold in 11ths, then divide that into 8ths!

However, generic box-pleated 88ths base = I ain't folding that!

Yeah, I would just fold 11ths(using reference finder) then divide those by 8. It would still be a pain though, assuming that I fold most of my models that are not my own design out of 10 in. foil paper.
