Try to tell me if that is the correct base. Im pretty sure it is. Only thing im questioning is the pleat in the wings. Let me know if I collapsed it right before i begin shaping the tail =D

If I remember correctly, that section is basically just a rabbit ear of sorts. When you collapse that portion, the ends of the wing pleats will sort of fan out.
Unless I did it wrong when I collapsed it, which is also possible.
There's a member of this forum who has a blog that shows some of the more difficult parts of the collapse after you do all the pre-creasing.
Hope that helps a little.

Hi Pleasehelp,

To collapse the sections you outlined, pay attention to the section I encircled in red first. You should collapse that section first. Once you've collapsed that section, the parts you were having problems with should automatically follow suit. You'll know you've properly collapsed the said portion if you get that 'extra flap' that's been talked about in this forum.
Also, I think you need to apply the same pleating-sinks on those two triangle (similar to the pleats you applied to the triangles adjacent to them)... at least that what I did.
As for the wings, you'll be increasing its length by a very small portion when you 'swing' the flap at its edge outwards. But that's as far as it will go.
