Here is a chess piece diagram, and in step 5 it says to rabbit fold, but no matter how hard I try to, I can't figure out what he's talking about, I know how to rabbit fold, but you just can't do it, I've tried so many times the folds are ripping due to use,

It would be easier if at step 3 you precrease the rabbit ear. Do you know where?
The pointed lines in step 5 mean that the rabbit ear is done not only with the part of the paper that you can see, but also with the part that is "inside" beneath the flaps that are done in step 3
I don't play chess. But it would be really nice to have an entire chess thingie (including the board) made from paper. I think I saw an origami chessboard somewhere. Probably on origami.com or something.
I hope I get some time to fold it pretty soon. I haven't had the time to do any origami for three months now. Vacation, med school etc.
I aspire to complete my chess set. Montroll has board made from a single square, but I settled on Kim Best's modular board. I stopped when I was 3/8th of way done, although I hope to get back to it someday.
Part of my motivation problem stems from the fact that I like board games a lot, but Chess is far from my favorite.
