John Montroll's 'three headed dragon' folded from 6" square of paper backed foil. 5 pence piece added for scale.

This is Robert Lang's 'Scarab Beatle', 20p added for scale.

Another Robert Lang classic, this one is the 'hermit crab'. Made a bit of a mess of the legs but it's not bad for a first attempt!

And finally, John Montroll's 'Moth'.

Here's a few more models from my collection.

This first one is Dave Brill's Dragon. It has to be one of favourite dragon designs, it's such a smart pose and the folding method is very fluid.

Here we have another Dave Brill model. This is the classic 'goose' from 'brilliant origami'. Tricky model to fold as some of the early reference folds use uncommon non-regular angles. But the finished model is worth the initial hassle.

Finally we have what I think is Peter Engel's best design. A really impressive giraffe model with brilliant proportions and a very clever folding method.
