why not create a new and own model?
did you ever fold the eastern dragon of joseph wu? once there were free diagrams for it to be found somewhere in the web but i don't know if they're still there ...

Despite what everyone thinks, you can't just buy ODS and expect that you can suddenly design models with ease like Lang does. It requires basic designing knowledge and the book makes it so you can put more details into your models. Believe me, I'm on page 150 and I still have to work hard to design models just like the rest of us.
Several years ago, Edwin Corrie kindly allowed me to post his diagrams for one of my favourite models of all times-

while it looks like a simple model, variants are possible

Edwin's booklets are availble from the British Origami website.
Enjoy and do post your variants.

Suggestions for simple mods to Corrie's Dragon:
1. Accordion Pleat the wings and shape them.
2. Pleat the wings from a point and curve them.
3. Not sure if you can fork the tail.
4. Horns or ears on the head ?
That should keep you busy.
Also, OUSA used to have an Origami Dragon Challenge booklet published from 2000.... which may interest you.
