Platypus - TheDeadSmellBad - 8.5x11 inch 100% Rag Vellum

I'm going to call this a platypus, if the scales throw you off just think of it as wet ruffled fur. this was just a sketch nothing serious. I was experimenting with how much scales will shrink the paper & saw this as a potential stopping point.

With those scales you could also easily turn it into an Armadillo.

I got an idea make a guy sitting down with his arms spread out and between them is a square piece of paper then when you pull something the arms close and the paper folds.

Robert Lang did something like this for Models by Members (OrigamiUSA publication). A man flaps a bird while tugging at his head.
